Prolific music flow also includes YouTube posts for “Wasted” acoustic and vintage classics

For Immediate Release:

Nashville, TN (July 19, 2016) Toronto-based singer/songwriter Kaitlin Kozell
has released her debut single, “Wasted,” embarking on a summer-long journey of radio visits and creative stops from Newfoundland to Toronto to Nashville. Her goal is to reach as many fans as possible before her appearance at the Boots & Hearts Festival in Ontario in August.

Produced by CCMA-nominated hitmaker Danick Dupelle (Emerson Drive), “Wasted” showcases the style and the vocal that grabbed Kozell the attention of Boots & Hearts, along with John Ettinger, Ryan Barnstead, and the team at The Talent Associates, who serve as representation to Kozell as she adds support to her career.

“I look at it like this is my hello to the fans, but also the industry,” said Kozell. “As we seek recording partners and booking relationships, we didn’t want to wait to get music flowing out.”

Kozell, a 26-year-old native of Mississauga, Ontario, has been described as fresh, fabulous, and set to leap forward among her peers in country music. With her unique vocal and vintage tone, Kozell earmarks true country at today’s pace. Her touring schedule this summer includes a feature performance at the Boots & Hearts Festival on Sunday, August 7. Her growing online catalog includes acoustic covers of “Crazy,” and Donna Fargo’s 1974 hit “Happiest Girl In The Whole USA."

The Talent Associates was formed in 2012 to provide label and management services to artist careers. Successes include the launch of artists Blackjack Billy, High Valley, Alissa Griffith, and Tebey and serving a key role in the start of the solo career of founding Sugarland member Kristian Bush. The company acts as US label and managers for Emerson Drive, Stereo Specter, Arabella Jones, DJ Du, Griffith, and Tebey
